How did this come to pass?

We're poker table builders ourselves. We've been around the block and have sampled the other cloth options out there: velvet, velveteen, moleskin, speed cloth, suited speed cloth, billiard cloth, fake suede.

And some of those work quite well in given situations. We're particularly fond of suited speed cloth.

But if you want to do any kind of custom logo on the "felt" -- isn't it funny that we still call it felt even though felt hasn't been used for years? -- none of those fabrics are a perfect solution.

Most builders resort to having a fabric airbrushed, but that's always seemed to us like a solution that works halfway, at best. If you have a really good artist, the airbrushing won't peel away too soon, but if the job's not done right, the table looks bad in very short order.

Worse, even the best airbrush jobs still look, well, airbrushed. And if you want a t-shirt of your girlfriend's caricature at the beach, well, then airbrushing is probably perfect.

But because you just can't get truly sharp resolution out of airbrushing -- if you want truly professional results for your tables, which is what we strive for -- then airbrushing just doesn't cut it.

So we went looking and found the best solution out there, the exact same system that major casinos use. And then we found the best people to do the job, using the exact same cloth that the casinos use.

And thus, we are able to produce a product that is superior to any other fabric. We did it because we wanted this solution for ourselves, so that the tables that we build look can look as professional and polished as any made today.
